WHAT TO WEAR
Wear your play clothes...depending on wind conditions, we may slide in on landing. Also, it can be 20-30 degrees colder at jump altitude, plus a 120mph wind chill! Wear shoes that will stay on your feet...and that don't have hooks. No sandals. You can wear your eyeglasses... We have goggles that fit over so you won't lose them.
HOW LONG DOES THE EXPERIENCE TAKE?
If things are going smoothly (no weather delays) the whole experience takes about an hour. Upon arriving, you will sign a waiver, have about a 20 minute training with your tandem instructor, board the plane, climb to altitude is about 20 minutes, the jump is about 15 minutes, and then viewing your video and receiving it will take about 15-20 minutes if you opt for that.
CAN I BRING MY OWN GO PRO?
Sorry but we cannot allow people to use their own Go Pro cameras on their jump. As a USPA group member we are required to follow their basic safety requirements regarding camera use during a jump. Jumping with a camera can be a snag hazard or damage our gear without proper training.
CAN WE BRING SPECTATORS?
Absolutely! We have a deck with tables and chairs for them to hang out on and watch. You will board the plane right in front of them, they will see you exit the plane and fall back to Earth, and you will land right in front of the deck on the grass area across from the deck.
You must be 18+ years old.
Some of the FOX 17 morning team can now cross skydiving off their bucket lists since jumping with us in August 2016. See full article/videohere.
Tandems jump from 10,000ft. 120mph. 30-60 seconds of freefall depending on weight.
